So today I was thinking about how God uses the different circumstances that are in our life wither it is a physical infirmity, sickness or a loss of Job, you name it, He uses those things  to bring us to our knees. So in thinking about this God brought some lyrics of  song to my mind that goes like this, i also inclosed the video of the song so you can hear the whole thing.

 In thinking about these words I was reminded that  time and time again God brings us through things to bring him closer to him self, and we would be reminded of the fact that all we need is Him and him alone. So latter on today on my way back to the church from playing with the kids at kids club I slipped  and feel  on my knees, which one of them ended up getting pretty banded up. So in literally falling on my knees I was once again reminded of the importance of how God brings us to our knees to refine us in order to make us more like him.

Hands lifted up with praise and surrender

On Monday a missions team came down from Reno Nevada, to head up a VBS  for this week. Today was the first day of VBS  the theme is Hawaiian. There where a lot of kids that came out and they had a lot of fun.  I was helping out with the five and six year olds which was a lot of fun it reminded me of being at home in some ways, because when I was home I thought Sunday school to four and five year olds so I enjoyed working with the age group that I had. Even though I could not under stand the bible teaching I could understand the part when it came to praying and excepting Christ I saw this one girl when to came time to pray with her hands lifted up which me think about the symbolism in raising your hands up to the lord. A sign of surrender, and this little girl got that she wanted to  give her life to Jesus. It just moves me when I just see little life’s come to know Jesus. Even though I could not understand what was being prayed because of the language bearer it did  not matter because there is no language barrier with God he is the one who bridges the gap. The worship was another thing that I enjoyed doing with the kids that’s another thing that I just love hearing when I go to other countries and I hear people worshiping in another language, because   even though I do not know the words I can still worship the lord with them. Because God is not just listening to the songs that we sing to him but the attitudes of are hearts. I went to an English speaking church on Sunday and he was talking about worship and one of the things that he was talking about was that worship is not just singing songs to the lord but it is how we live  are life’s every day are they glorifying God.  

This weeks journey

So this week was me Michaela, and Justin's first week doing kids club with out Brook, and Matt being there. It went we'll Don Victor was with us one of the other staff members, along with his two sons, and one of there friends. This Tuesday me, and Michaela thought the kids English. We where teaching them the different body parts using bingo, which was a lot of fun as Michaela was explaining the game she had Daniel and his friend to help interpret. When they where trying to tell the kids the different body parts at one point they picked up Daniels brother Denis to show the kids where the legs where it was quite funny. We also used the song hokey pokeie along with the song head shoulders knees and toes, which are very good songs for using to teach English. Latter on in the week on Thursday we had pinatas for the kids one for the girls, and one for the boys they had allot of fun with that it didn't take very long for the boys to break open there's once it was broken open the kids started swarming towards the candy. On Friday it was Micheal's birthday so her and Justine deiced to buy a cake to make little did she know that we had a little surprise for her the next day. Latter on that night Eddy, and Corey came over to say hi and started singing happy birthday to Michaela so as she was trying to escape into the house i shut the door forgetting that it locked when you shut it. So at first they try ed using a machete as a screw driver to get in through one of the windows, since that didn't work we deiced to go get a screw driver from are land lords   by are apartments. So eventually Corey was able to get us in. On Saturday we all went to the beach, and Eddy thought us all how to serf which it took me quite some time to get my self balanced on the board, but once i had gotten my self balanced it was pretty fun, i didn't get the the standing up part yet i used it as more as a body Bord i guess you could say, maybe eventually i will get there we'll see. Then that night Pastor Phil and his family came over along with Eddy, and Corey to have dinner and celebrate Michaela's birthday  which she was totally not expecting. So we old hung out and talked for a while after Pastor Phil had left we watched the movie x-man .
